Maureen Denise McCormick is the younger daughter of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5th 1956 in Woodland Hills California. Her father was an elementary school teacher, and her mom was an at-home mom. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. At a young age, McCormick loved to sing and dance, and she would frequently present puppet shows to kids in the community. When she was just 6, McCormick won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley competition. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called McCormick to inquire whether she was looking to pursue a career in showbusiness. McCormick's first big job was in 1964 which was when she appeared in a television commercial featuring Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. Later that year she did another commercial with the company's Chatty Cathy doll and was later cast in the show the play Wind It Up And It is Broken in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, who was selected from over 200 auditioned kids, played the oldest of three double-headed daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969), starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show lasted for five seasons. McCormick, in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published in 2008, McCormick revealed how during the 5th season of the show, she was close to losing her virginity with her twin brother Barry Williams. At the time, she was 16, and he was 19. We would've had a couple, she added. But the timing wasn't right.
